She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Lewis and Byrda McCall (Hensley); her husband John Dudley "Jack" Holmes; and her siblings, David Lewis McCall and Anna Jean McCall Rodriques.

She is survived by: her grandson Charles Peyton Holmes; her siblings, Jack Lewis McCall of Hustonville, KY and Kathryn Joyce "Tincy" Payne (Tom) of Maretburg, KY; and her close friend Terri Brock. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
