He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Ann King and Cecil Vandiver, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Madge Boone Vandiver; and his siblings, William Cecil, Jr. and Vera Irene. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson, and various cousins, nieces, and nephews.
