He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie "Poppy" and Martha Day (Wells); and his siblings, Oscar, Chester Day, Molly Helton, Rose Sparks and Orgie Day.
He is survived by: his wife Joetta Marie Day (Singleton); his children, Keith Day (Connie), Georgia (Raymond Brenda), Billy Day and Thelma Phelps (Curt Brown); his grandchildren, David Day (Jody), Daryl Day (Dawn), Steven Day (Valerie), Amy Michelle Sadler (Rob), Raymond Travis Brenda (Judy), Jessica Marie Fletcher (Josh), Carly Suzanne Day, John Michael Phelps (Ashley) and Kristy Purcell (Jonathan); and his great grandchildren, Daniel, Royce Ann, Killen, Madelyn, Maggie Grace, Brycen Lee, Mikaela, Zackary, Karrigan, Ashley, Benjamin, Atlas, Sydney, Dylan and Logan. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
