He was predeceased by: his parents, Bartley B. Ferrell and Lucy Bell Gaunce Ferrell; and his siblings, Delbert Ferrell, Edward Ferrell, Dorothy Gooch, Gladys Campbell and Shirley Price.
He is survived by: his daughter Sherry Naylor (Andrew) of Stanford; his stepchildren, Michael Wayne Padgett (Dana Lee) of Harrodsburg, Kentucky and Karen McWhorter (Larry) of Hustonville, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Victoria Jade Slusher, Sadie Makena Naylor and Adrianna Lynn Naylor; his stepgrandchildren, Korey McWhorter (Tiffany), Hayden Padgett and Landon Padgett; his stepgreat-grandson Maverick McWhorter; his sister-in-law Jeannie Elder of Brodhead, Kentucky; and his niece Kim Taylor of Crab Orchard. He is also survived by several other extended family members and friends.
