He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Chandler and Eunice Chandler (Crawford); and his grandson William. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Chandler (Hall); his children, Brian Chandler of Erlanger and Julie Chandler of Crab Orchard; his brother Ronald Chandler of Mississippi; and his grandchildren, Brian II, Abigail, Hayden, Chance, Brealynn and Bodey-Ray.
