He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Allen and Flora Baggett Allen; his daughter Patsy Hamilton; and his grandson Eric Hargrove. He is survived by: his wife Joella Martin Allen of Cerulean, Kentucky; his children, Robert Eugene Allen of Christian County, Kentucky, Katherine Sue Harton (Brian) of Christian County and Lorrie Ann Hargrove (John) of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; his sister Susan Hayes of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Leslie Allen Adcock, Bracee Allen Dobson, Martin Hamilton, Will Hamilton, Amanda Hamilton, Michael Harton, Kyle Harton, Kara Harton Dixon and Erin Hargrove. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
Memorials may take the form of donations to Sinking Fork Christian Church or Pennyroyal Hospice.
