It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Corine Burgess of Cerulean, Kentucky, who passed away on July 4, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Brummett and Laudie Croft Brummett; her husband Lucian "Bill" Burgess; and her siblings, James Brummett, C. J. Brummett, Dempsey Brummett, Mary Lee Hopper and Odell Meadows.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Allen (Robert) of Cadiz and Ira Burgess (Missy) of Cadiz; her grandchildren, Dion Allen (Paula), Nathan Allen (Teddie), Crystal Allen, Dustin Burgess (Jordan) and Brittany Hooks (Billy); her great grandchildren, Melisa Clark (Tyler), Dalin Allen, Johnathan Allen, Natalie Allen, Bradley Allen, Alana Rascoe, Tayla Rascoe, Olivia Burgess, Waylon Hooks and Sawyer Hooks; her great great grandchildren, Jay Forsythe, Madi Rose Clark and Chance Rascoe; and her sisters, Alvata Sowell of Princeton and Doris Armstrong of Princeton.
