It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Godsey Sr. (Campton, Kentucky), who passed away on May 13, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Selbert Godsey; his great grandchild Selbert; and his mother Mary Allen Godsey. He is survived by: his wife Edna Irene Kilgore Godsey of Campton, Kentucky; his children, George Godsey, Jr. (Dianne) of Lakeland, Florida and Louonna Erickson (Ron) of Dundee, Illinois; his grandchildren, Shalae Mayville (Rick), Denise Sanders (Mark) and Ronnie Erickson (Kimmy); and his brother Denver Godsey of Whitesburg. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren.
