He is survived by: his mother Virginia Sexton Parks of Campton, Kentucky; his children, Chad Parks (Dorothy) of Stamping Ground, Kentucky, Ashley Stone of Campton, Jessica Parks of Middletown, Ohio and Amanda Parks of Middletown, Ohio; his grandchildren, Rylie Parks, Lorianna Parks, Connor Stone, Darcie Stone and Josiah Johnson; his siblings, Chester Parks, Jr. (Verlina) of Campton, Ira "Porky" Parks (Charlotte) of Campton, Arlie Parks (Brenda) of Franklin, Robert Parks (Barbara) of Swansea, Mary Rose (Walter) of Campton, Barbara Robinson (Eugene) of Campton, Marilyn Burton (Homer) of Campton and Patricia McKenney of Campton; and his brother-in-law John Hurt.
