He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Clibern and Rhoda Engle Clibern; his brother James Clibern; his half-brother Carl Nolan; and his sisters, Mable Simmons and Opal Pennington.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Lovins Clibern of Campton, Kentucky; and his children, Alan Wayne Clibern (Michelle) of Leeco, Kelly Clibern (Bonnie) of Campton, Kentucky and Deborah Renee Newsome (Vince) of Winchester, Kentucky. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
