He was predeceased by: his children, Dennis Ray Profitt, Dorothy Profitt and Gracie Profitt; his parents, Swango Profitt and Dovie Jane Tolson Profitt; and his brothers, William Virgil Profitt, Willard Profitt, Orlan Profitt and Delmar Profitt.
He is survived by: his daughter Christine Jenkins of Lexington, Kentucky; and his siblings, Ray Douglas Profitt (Ruthie) of Fairborn, Ohio and Lucy Alexander (Virgil) of Campton. He is also survived by six grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
