He was predeceased by: his parents, Buford Brewer and Lula Roberts Brewer; his wife Lula Jean Wood Brewer; his son Jeffery Wayne Brewer; and his siblings, David Glenn Brewer, Donald B. Brewer, Sylvia Cress, Lavern Bihlman, Mary Faye Martin and Elizabeth Brewer.
He is survived by: his children, Dale Brewer (Johlene) of Campton, Kentucky, Greg Brewer (Rita) of Campton, Kentucky, Cynthia Brewer Jones of Campton and Marcia Brewer Kelleher (Patrick) of Xenia, Ohio; his foster brother Mike Brooks of Campton, Kentucky; and his sisters, Betty Jean Swafford of Dayton, Ohio, Bessie Hollon (Alta June Warman), Debbie O'Hair (Shirley Jones) of Nicholasville and Stephanie Cato Simmons (Bethany Cato). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
