It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carroll Boyd Amyx of Campton, Kentucky, who passed away on October 16, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Durward Amyx and Ethel McGuire Amyx; his former wife Phyllis Alexander Amyx; and his son John Boyd Amyx. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Motley Amyx of Campton, Kentucky; his daughter Barbara Hatton (Eric) of Winchester, Kentucky; his grandson Jacob Scott Amyx of Winchester, Kentucky; his daughter-in-law Jessica Amyx Schlachter (D. J.) of Winchester, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Morgan, Ethan Craft, Alan Michael, Megan Peck, Cody Bair, Jared Chandler, Jay Issac, Grant Issac, Finn and Emma Schlachter; his great grandchildren, Mara Blake Craft and Amelia Jade Peck; and also, Jason Issac, Brook of Morehead, Margenia Little, Terry of Maiden, Melinda Peck and Alan of Frenchburg, Kentucky..
