She was predeceased by: her mother Josephine Garrett Newton; and her brother Leroy Newton. She is survived by: her father Roy James Newton; her sons, James Dennis Walls and Christopher Jessie Walls (Raimi); and her stepson Chase Brewer of Campbellsville. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
