He was predeceased by: his parents, John Alvin Humphress and Virginia Olene White Humphress; and his brothers, Jolly Humphress, Hancel Humphress, Bobby Shaw and Guy Humphress.
He is survived by: his sons, John Humphress, III (Jeannie Clark) of Campbellsville and Clifton Humphress (Denise) of Denver, Colorado; his grandchildren, Tyler Humphress, Henry Smith, Alex Humphress, Miles Humphress and Mia Humphress; and his siblings, Donald Humphress (Charlotte) of Campbellsville, Deloris Underwood of Hodgenville and Kathleen Campos (Paul) of California. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
