With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jim Mitchell of Cadiz, Kentucky, born in Morgantown, West Virginia, who passed away on August 9, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edgar Mitchell, Sr. and Eva Fowler Mitchell; his daughter Vicky Haines Martin; and his grandchildren, Skyler Mitchell and Trevor Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Rheba Mitchell of Cadiz; his children, Joshua Mitchell of Cadiz, Victor Haines (Kayln) of Cadiz, Steven Mitchell of Cadiz, David Mitchell (Julia) of Cadiz, Mark Mitchell of Princeton, KY, Carolyn Calhoun (Russ) of Gracey, KY and Jacqueline Caughey of Cadiz; and his sisters, Sandra Price (Jim) of Hopkinsville, KY and Carol E. Robinson of Asheville, NC. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
