He was predeceased by: his father Robert "Pop" Cartwright. He is survived by: his children, Catherine McCay (Steve), Robert E. Cartwright (Dena), Christina Leamon (Jason) and Cynthia Littleton (Jeremiah); his grandchildren, Jacob, Jesse, Nicholas and Jenna; his mother Ethel Hill Cartwright; his sister Carol Sue Davila; and his brother-in-law Gary Meglich (Joyce). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
