He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Charlie Sanders and Mellie Highbaugh Sanders; and his siblings, Cora S. Turner, Daphna Sanders, Barbara Watt, Christine Gipson, Delda Sanders, Josie Taylor, Clarence Sanders, Japeth Sanders, Duel Sanders and Billy Lee Sanders.
He is survived by: his wife Rosa Lee; his children, Timmey Sanders (Kathy) of Pig, Penny Bennett (Chip) of Cedar Springs and Tony Sanders (Kim) of Cedar Springs; his grandchildren, Timmey Sanders, Jr. (Daphne), April Kenney, Nathan Sanders (Melissa), Faith Ann Haynes (Adam) and Lillee Ashton Sanders; his great grandchildren, Brendalynn Kenney, Jayde Sanders, Kathryn Kenney, Bentlee Sanders, Maylee Haynes, Bennett Haynes, Maverick Sanders and Carter Haynes; and his sisters, Betty Childress and Cleo Brown (Bill).
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 6:00 PM and on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM.
