He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Sam and Nannie Susan Craig (Elder); and his siblings, Mary McWhorter, Julia Hunt, Mabel Taylor, Martha Cope, Clarence Craig, John Craig, Bill Craig, Jennings Craig, J. S. Craig, Jr. and Benny Craig.
He is survived by: his wife Nell Craig; his children, Dana Lynne Sanders (Dave) of Colorado Springs, CO, Patrick Evans Craig (Ann) of Brodhead, KY and Christopher Joseph Craig (Mary Lee) of Brodhead, KY; his grandchildren, Anjelica Rae Johnson (Brad), Mackenzie Lynn Craig, C. J. Stanford, Duncan Reed Stanford, Molly Elizabeth Craig and Keaton Patrick Craig; and his great grandchildren, Ella and Raegan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Providence Cemetery in memory of Gatliff Craig.
