He was predeceased by: his father Gordon Ray Hayes. He is survived by: his mother Wilma Hayes (Denney); his wife Stephanie Hayes (Reynolds); his children, Joshua Gordon Hayes of Brodhead, Jessica Hayes, Sean Gosser of Brodhead and Madison Hayes of Brodhead; his grandchildren, Aubrey Rayne Clouse and Izabella Jade McClure; his brother Lewis Calvin Denney of Mt. Vernon; and also Grayson McClure.
