She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennis Carter and Mary Virginia Massey Carter; her siblings, John Henry Carter, Michael Eugene Carter, Dennis Edward Carter, Donald Ray Carter and Barbara Zimmerman; and her pet Roxy.
She is survived by: her siblings, Brenda Carter of Bowling Green and Robert Carter (Alice) of Brownsville; her nieces, Christy, Julie, Natalie, Caraline, Anna, Emily, Lisa, Amanda, Shelby and Bethany; her nephew Melvin; and her pet Sabby.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Kidney Fund in loving memory of Joann.
