It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma Wilson (Booneville, Kentucky), born in Island City, Kentucky, who passed away on March 21, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Taylor Burch and Lavada Burch (Carmack); her husband James H. Wilson; her siblings, Opal Burch Howard, Clyde Burch, Versel Burch, Veron Burch, Jeanette Burch Harvey and Marlene Burch McIntosh; her granddaughter Joy Turner; and her great grandchildren, Michael Edward Portwood and Sheldon Reed.
She is survived by: her children, Wanda McCollum (Perry) of London, KY, Carol Turner (Michael) of Breathitt County, KY, Melissa Wilson of St. Petersburg, FL and David Wilson of Booneville, KY; her siblings, Leon Burch, Beatrice Burch Peters and Lola Burch Watkins; her grandchildren, Tracy Barrett, Patricia Brandenburg (Potter), Toi Dean (David), LuVena Hensley (Brian), April Stamper (Brandon), Dustin Wilson, Josh Reed (Mandy) and Gina Reed; her great grandchildren, Katerina Rollins, Kalisha Brandenburg, Natasha Ryan Rollins, Jacob Dean, Justin Reed, Jessie Stamper, Shawn Reed, Jody Stamper, Jace Stamper, Isaiah Reed and Lyra Reed; and her great great grandchildren, Adalene Sachleben and Grayson Woods. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and close friends.
