He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Lee and Josephine Middleton Curtsinger; his wife Pauline Newton Curtsinger; his son Joseph Gregory "Greg" Curtsinger; and his siblings, Evelyn Witt, Dorothy Crowe, Mary Alice Taylor, Bessie Hawthorne, Dessie Hawthorne, Anna Belle Curtsinger, Earl, Charles, James "Jim" and Richard Jr. "Junnie" Curtsinger.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy C. Fowler of Bardstown, Missy Trent (Ronnie) of Bloomfield, Wayne Curtsinger (Connie) of Bardstown, Bruce Curtsinger (Jean) of Bardstown, Denny Curtsinger of Bardstown and Jeff Curtsinger (Nora) of Bloomfield; and his sister Kathy Horton (Jerry) of Bedford. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
