He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Owen and Anna Bell Haydon Jewell; and his daughter Melissa Sue Perez. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jane Jewell; and his children, Mae Bunch (Wesley) of Springfield, Jody Jewell of Shelby Co, Donna Milburn (Robbie Summitt) of Cox, Creek of Taylorsville, Dewayne Jewell (Rosie) of Taylorsville, Misty Jewell (Todd) of Taylorsville, James Douglas of Bloomfield and Charles Douglas (Samantha Allen) of Bloomfield. He is also survived by 10 brothers and sisters, 17 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
