It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgil D. Gibson of Berea, Kentucky, born in Bradshaw, West Virginia, who passed away on September 3, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Steward Gibson and Myrtle Horn Hyvari; his sister Ruby; his grandmother Marie; his brothers, James, Russell, Bufford, Jimmy Harold and George; and his grandson Rico.
He is survived by: his wife Marcia "Marty" Gibson; and his children, Richard of Hibbing, Michael of Berea, Jeffrey (Ronnell) of Fond, David of Berea, Kentucky and Shannon Heit (Chris) of Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
