He was predeceased by: his father Arthur Mason; and his siblings, Luther, Frank, Junior, Russell, Jessie and Mary Cope Miller.
He is survived by: his children, Roy Cope (Tammy) of Berea, KY, Jack Hudson (Kathy) of Illinois, Madonna King (Clyde Chasteen) of Berea, KY and Michelle Isaacs (Kevin) of McKee, KY; his sisters, Lou York (Roger Pigg) of Rockcastle County, KY, Sue Daugherty (Jeff) of Jackson County, KY and Faye Burns of Madison County, KY; and his grandchildren, Holly Denny (Jerry), Keith Cope, Michael Cope, Brandon King (Erika), Heather Hall (Randall), Josh Isaacs (Miranda), Jordan Isaacs, Cody Hudson, Lucas Hudson and Taylor Lynn Hudson. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
