Queenie E. Schmidt Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 13, 2021, at the age of 94, Queenie E. Schmidt of Belton, Kentucky, born in London, London passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Queenie E. Schmidt to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Rick; her siblings, Leslie, Ernest, Alan Hammond, David (Violet), Frederick (Maude), Ronald (Maud), John (Iris Hammond), Lillian, Joyce Hammond and Jean Wright; her sister-in-law Elsie Hammond; her son-in-law Johnny McGehee; and her great grandchildren, Richard J. Pendley and Shaina McGehee.

She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Biskup (Ronald Wright), Rita McGehee and Christine Thielk (Steven); her brother Roy Hammond; and her siblings-in-law, Sherry Hammond and William Wright. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 24 great great grandchildren.

They were both active in the Parish and continued to work at the church's food pantry; Rick until his passing in 2015, and Queenie until Covid-19 arrived in 2020.

As per Queenie's wishes, in lieu of flowers donations may be sent to St. Joseph Catholic Church Food Pantry.
