He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Johnson and Nell Johnson; and his siblings, Margaret Allen, Jessie L. Belcher, Herbert R. Johnson and Donald O. "Cracker" Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara G. Johnson of Beaver Dam; his daughters, Rebecca "Becky" Johnson of Owensboro and Sherry Johnson of Elizabethtown; his brother Walter R. Johnson; and his nephew Steve McKenney (Billi) of Clarkson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
