It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie Jewell Daugherty (Beaver Dam, Kentucky), who passed away on December 25, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Edward Allen and Vonnie Renfrow Allen; her husband Russell E. Daugherty; and her sisters, Iva Royal, Nena, Reva and Judith Allen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Batts (Daniel) of Monticello and Sharon Coy (Paul) of Baizetown; her grandchildren, Paul Martin Coy (Kandi) and Mary Carol Daugherty (Chris); her great grandchildren, Hayden, Dean, Kaden, Bentley, Gunner and Corbin; and her siblings, Charles Allen of Hartford, Don Allen of Owensboro and Barbara Oller of Louisville.
