She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis D Blanchard and Flora Blair Blanchard; and her son Benjamin Lowe. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Lowe (Cyndy Dorer) of Woodstock, David Lowe (Annmarie) of Elizabethtown and Matthew Lowe (Holly) of Dickson, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Bailey, Zuri, Akili, Benjamin and Sawyer Lowe; and her brother Charles Edward "Eddie" Blanchard (Rita) of Louisville.
