She was predeceased by: her spouse Oval Gross; her parents, James D. Gross and Nannie Combs Gross; her daughter Victoria Gross Moore; her granddaughter Jacelyn Gross; her siblings, Bertha Ferguson, Minerva Crabtree, Myrtle Dawson, Alice Byrd, Drucilla "Punkin" Cale (Johnny Cale), Abbie Crabtree, Beulah Crabtree, Buster Crabtree and George; her nephew Lester Crabtree; and the father of her children Oval Gross.
She is survived by: her children, Diana Gross Hamilton (Gene), James David Gross of Beattyville, Kentucky and Jackson Oval Gross (Fonda) of Beattyville, Kentucky; her granddaughters, Tara Newman (Charles) of Beattyville, Dena Crowe (Billy) of Lexington, Kentucky and Rebecca Gross of Lexington, Kentucky; her stepgrandchildren, Craig Hamilton of Richmond and Eleisha Keifer of Lexington, Kentucky; and her great grandchildren, McKaylyn, Allie, Kenzie, Noah, Brooke, Nick, Grace, Holly, Azaan and Kelsey. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
