He is survived by: his spouse Anna Mae Evans Rowland of Beattyville; his parent Mary Katherine Turner Rowland; his children, Varian Rowland of Beattyville and Valerie Ann Rowland of Beattyville; his grandchildren, Wayne J. Rowland and Emily Leeanne Rowland of Beattyville; and his daughter-in-law Anne Rowland Hatton of Berea, Kentucky. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
