He is survived by: his wife Judy Wheeler (Hutchins); his son Jeremy Scott Wheeler (Amy); his grandson Cody Thomas Wheeler; his siblings, Joseph Wheeler, Mary Charlene Browder (Fred) and Marilyn Kent Velde; his nieces and nephews, Joan Matthews (Steve), Steven Wheeler, David Wheeler and Lisa Browder; his close friends, Phil and Elise Fassler; and also Phil.
