She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Edwin "Sonny" Cambron; her parents, Joseph Adrian "Ado" and Mary Edith "Sis" Mattingly Simms; her siblings, Ruth Simms, Naomi Simms Mullins and William Robert Simms; and her grandchildren, Matthew, Christopher Ballard and Alyssa Kelty.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Ballard of Bardstown, Lisa McCarter (Steve) of Sevierville, Charles Cambron, Jr. of Manton and John Cambron (Michelle) of Springfield; and her siblings, J. A. (Edna), Gerald (Polly), Joyce (John), Bonnie (David) and Virginia. She is also survived by six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mattingly Funeral Home (195 Holy Cross Rd, Loretto, KY 40037). A prayer will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (6964 Cissellville Rd, Springfield, KY 40037).
