He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bernard and Mary Ursula Warren Mudd; his wife Dolores Spalding Mudd; and his sisters, Mary Mudd of Virginia, Hattie Riggs, Mary Lilly and Rita Clements.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Paul "Joe Paul" Mudd of Louisville and Amy Lynn Adams of Ft. Smith; his grandchildren, Tyler Joseph Mudd and Sarah Grace Adams; and his brothers, Joe Mudd of Springfield and Anthony Mudd of Bardstown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
