It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Boone Ballard of Bardstown, Kentucky, who passed away on February 5, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John Elmer "Hamburger" Ballard; her parents, Joseph Ramey Boone and Christina Bea Bryan Boone; and her siblings, Joseph Adrian Boone, Mary Irene Bowling (Wally), Anna Rose Bowling (Bill) and Joseph Leland Boone (Shirley).
She is survived by: her sons, John Ballard (Debbi) of Bardstown, Jim Ballard (Cindy) of Bardstown, Joseph B. Ballard of Bardstown and Jeff Ballard (Shawn) of Bardstown; her grandchildren, Tyler, Cole, Connor, Sara, Annie, Jack, Beatrice Ballard and Patrick Waskom; and her great grandchildren, Jillian and Luke. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and much loved extended family.
