He is survived by: his former wife Patsy Ann Pierce; his wife Carolyn Smith; his daughters, Cathy Sue of Barbourville and Janet Faye Damm (Tom) of Denver; his stepchildren, Shelly Foley (Cecil) of Whitesburg, Luke Phipps of Barbourville and Brent Phipps of Stuart; his grandchildren, Nicholas Pierce Damm, Ryan Thomas Damm, Janna Mei, Jolene Smith, Josh, Aly Foley, Travis, Brianna, Eva, Lexie Phipps, Tyler and Dustin Phipps; his siblings, Jerry Wayne Smith (Wanda) and Brenda Faye Warren; his sister-in-law Imogene Smith; and his aunt Bernice Mills. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
