She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Roark and Mattie Girtman Roark; her grandmother Fannie Johnson; her sons, Larry Wayne Lowe and Billy James Lowe; her grandsons, Billy Jr. and Ethan; her great grandchild Tiffany Scarbo; and her siblings, Beulah, Juanita, Brenda, Nadine, Arlena, Donna V. and Harold Lee Roark.
She is survived by: her sisters, Launa Charlton of Barbourville and Elsie King of Jonesboro, IN; her daughter Maxine Richardson of Barbourville; and her former husband Howard Powell of Bimble. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
