He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Patricia Rodgers; his children, Debra Parrish Amburgy, Mike Rodgers, Shelby Co, Tim Rodgers (Verna) and Donna Edwards; and his siblings, Virginia Rose, Lonnie Rodgers, Betty McGaughey and Mary Ann Walker.
