He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Basham and Virlie Ashlock Basham; his sister Sarah Conner; and his grandson John D. Smallwood. He is survived by: his wife Vickie A. Humphrey Basham of Bagdad; his children, John J. Basham of Bagdad, Josh M. Basham of Shelbyville, Linda D. McDaniel of Elizabethtown, Barbara A. Basham of Magnolia and Vickie E. Sallee (Shaun) of Elizabethtown; and his sisters, Mae George of Elizabethtown, June Dillard of Elizabethtown, Gail Helm of Elizabethtown, Laura Woodard of Elizabethtown and Jeanette Jewel of Elizabethtown. He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren; and five Great-Grandchildren.
