He is survived by: his wife Donna Mielenhausen of Bagdad; his daughter Jill Mielenhausen of Bagdad; his sister Dorothy Zawada of Centereach; his nieces, Nicole Gallagher, Andrea Zawada and Amanda Zawada; his great-niece Isabelle Zawada; and his great-nephews, Fionn Gallagher and Declan Gallagher.
