He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Hartwell and Lucy Katherine Montfort; and his siblings, Hartwell and Zelma Smith. He is survived by: his wife Judy Stivers Montfort; his children, Troy Montfort (Sue) of Grant, MI, Chris Montfort (Barbara), Jennifer Stamper and Melanie Tinsley (Anthony); his sister Thelma Rogers; his sister-in-law Betty Montfort; and his grandchildren, Timothy, Daniell, Callee, Brooklyn, Hillaree, Christopher, Mackenna and Cambelle. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Facial coverings and social distancing will be required for the service.
