She was predeceased by: her parents, London Jones and Euva May Jones (Coley); her husband Leon Gipson; her daughter Debra Stamps; and her brothers, Jessie Jones and Tom Jones.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gayle Howard (Mike) of Auburn and Melanie Douglas (Dan) of Russellville. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
