He was predeceased by: his parents, James D. Gibbs and Ella Mae Wells Gibbs; his siblings, Owen Gibbs, Audrey Lemon and Betty Hanshaw; and his niece Karen Lemon Twohig.
He is survived by: his nephew James Lemon (Diana) of Ashland; his niece Brenda Humphrey (Bill); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brittany Brownfield (Jared) of Barboursville, Wva, Nick Lemon (Ginny) of Raceland, Jared Lemon of Cincinnati and Scott Humphrey (Elizabeth) of Florida; his cousin Earl Henry; and also Jim Twohig.
