She was predeceased by: her parents, James Caines and Stella Williams Caines; her husband Howard F. Hanks; her son Steven Hanks; her sisters, Bobbie, Betty, Henrietta and Thelma; and her grandson Robert Brantley.
She is survived by: her daughter Lesa Hanks Cooper (Jeff) of Huntington; her grandchildren, Connor, Stevie, Tyler (Sarah), Hollie (Nick), Cheyenne and Maya; and her niece Debbie. She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren.
