He was predeceased by: his parents, James G. Lemaster and Sibyl Lemaster (Salyer); his wife Kathy Neff Lemaster; his brothers, Gary Lemaster and Mike Lemaster; and his daughter Tracie Hanshaw Vanderpool.
He is survived by: his children, Kristina Billing (Ed) of Ironton and Thomas Scott Hanshaw of Grayson; his grandchildren, Thomas Billing of Ironton, Trayton Long and Whytley Hanshaw; and his sister-in-law Valerie Lemaster. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
