He was predeceased by: his parents, David Miranda, Sr. and Gladys Elizabeth Ratliff Miranda; his wife Mary Jane Miranda; his daughter Carol Miranda Adkins; and his siblings, James Miranda and Rosemary Miranda.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Bailey of Ashland, KY and Mary Ann Miranda (Kristian Klaene) of Lexington, KY; his grandchildren, Chris Adkins (Brooke), Jaime Bullock (Isaac), Jason Bailey, Melissa Orahood (Clay), Elsa Klaene and William Klaene; and his great grandchildren, Liam, Ava Adkins, Kamden, Kayden Bullock, Landon, Kyson and Joelle Bailey.
