We are sad to announce that on March 13, 2019, at the age of 82, Joseph Burkart (Alexandria, Kentucky), born in Newport, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Joseph Burkart and Ann Othelia Burkart (Murray); his siblings, Shirley Burkart, Carol Vickers and James Burkart; his brothers-in-law, George Thomas and Gene Warndorf; his granddaughter Codi Sanders; and his son-in-law Douglas Hofmann.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Ann Burkart (Randolph); his children, Mary Ann Hofmann, Julie Ferguson, Lisa Kelly (Michael), Claire Jackson (Daniel), Joseph Burkart, Jr. (Julie), Stephen Burkart (Janet) and Matthew Burkart (Emily); his stepchildren, Jennifer Hannah (Dan Heimbrock) and Sunny Hannah (Larry Morgan); his sisters, Patricia Martz (Ralph), Beverly Warndorf, Sue Thomas and Judy Schumacher (Ron); and his sister-in-law Ramona Burkart. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
