It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Hoyt Black of Winfield, Kansas, born in Toronto, Kansas, who passed away on January 3, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William O. Black and Lyla Black (Adkins); and his sister Anna Lou Newland. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Black of Winfield; his children, Ronald Black (Sara) of San Antonio and Karen Kraemer (Soren); his brother Darrell Black of Grove, OK; and his grandchildren, Michael Kraemer, Kevin Kraemer, Brittany Fischer and Ira Kraemer.

A memorial has been established in Bill's name for Union Rescue Mission. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
