With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nellie Travis of Winfield, Kansas, born in Lexington, Georgia, who passed away on November 22, 2022 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Sutton and Lillie Sutton (James Elijah Travis). She is survived by: her husband James Travis; her children, Lawana Gonzales (Bernard) and James William "Bill" Travis; her grandchildren, Lori Winkle (Robert), Jeffery Gonzales and Roxann Sheeran (Michael); and her great grandchildren, Lupito Fraire, Yasmeen Fraire, Lexi Winkle, Elijah Gonzales, Kylie Winkle, Isaac Sheeran, Ayden Sheeran, Collin Sheeran and Felina Gonzales.
Memorial contributions for Louise may be made to the VFW Post #3544, donations may be left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield.
